Description

FOTOJORNADA

PHOTOJOURNAL

The most living & vivid Holiday celebrated in Mexico.
"The Day of Dead" trace its origins dating back thousands of years from an Aztec festival dedicated to the Death goddess.

Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts. The Day of the Dead is a time of celebration when eating and partying are common.

And also in an ironic mode, it´s a way to remember our dead ones as a living people (in a skeletal way sometimes, he, he..)

This year was so common to find Mexico´s Story theme, featuring historical events like people, old wars, revolution & independence.
